Five long strands of antique red glass beads dangling from diamond shaped pearls with sterling silver beads on the tassels and sterling silver earring posts.
These earrings are inspired by images of Red Sprites in the sky over the Dordogne. A rare, terrifying and beautiful phenomenon. I couldn’t get over how alive they looked and knew I had to recreate them in jewellery. I love how bright and bold the red beads are and how they look with the diamond pearls.
This piece is made of very small antique beads and silk thread so it is delicate! Please don’t get it wet or spray with perfume and take care to store it safely.
