Long dangling pearls on a hand formed spiralling ear hook in gold filled or sterling silver.
The spiral has been used throughout history to symbolise the journey of the sun in the sky: the increasing curve from the winter solstice to the summer solstice, the decreasing curve from summer solstice to winter solstice. Spirals also symbolise the cyclical nature of life, a portal to the spirit world and the concept of infinity 🌀
Spirals were found carved into the entrance rock at Newgrange in Ireland dating back to 3100BC, as well as across the ocean in Palaeolithic Native American cave paintings and so many forms of ancient art. Basically humans have been drawn to this beautiful shape for millennia, and now you can adorn yourself with it too…
Every piece of Saltwater jewellery is designed and handmade by me in France using natural & vintage materials. This means each piece is unique and may vary slightly from the product photograph.
